Kentucky Legislators Visit BRASS, Inc.

BRASS, Inc. was honored to welcome State Representatives Amy Neighbors and Rebecca Raymer for a visit to our shelter.

During their time with us, the representatives met with BRASS, Inc. staff, learned more about the vital services we provide to survivors of domestic violence and their children across our ten-county service area, and heard about both the challenges facing survivors today and our vision for the future.

Visits like these matter. When policymakers take the time to see our work firsthand and listen to the experiences of those serving survivors every day, they gain a deeper understanding of what it takes to create safer communities — and how policy and resources can help make that possible.

We’re grateful to Representatives Neighbors and Raymer for showing up, listening, and learning more about the work of BRASS, Inc. When leaders take the time to show up for our community, we all grow stronger.
