BRASS, Inc. is proud to celebrate Debbie Chandler, who has been honored with the Peace in Kentucky Homes Award from ZeroV in recognition of her dedication to supporting survivors of domestic violence.

The Peace in Kentucky Homes Award recognizes individuals who have gone above and beyond throughout their careers to support survivors and advance the work of domestic violence prevention and advocacy. Debbie’s years of service and continued commitment to BRASS, Inc. make this recognition especially meaningful.

Debbie spent 19 years working in finance at BRASS, Inc., contributing to the organization’s mission of providing safety, support, and resources to survivors of domestic violence and their families. Her commitment to the organization continued even after her initial tenure. When BRASS, Inc.’s Chief Financial Officer needed to take medical leave, Debbie stepped back in to provide support during a critical time for the organization.

Today, Debbie continues to work part-time with BRASS, Inc., demonstrating the dedication and generosity that have defined her relationship with the organization over the years.

While much of BRASS, Inc.’s work takes place on the front lines of survivor advocacy, the organization’s mission depends on the commitment of people working across every area of service. From direct support for survivors to the financial and operational work that keeps the organization running, every contribution helps ensure that survivors have access to the resources and support they need.

Debbie’s willingness to return when she was needed is a testament to the lasting impact of dedicated team members and the importance of the work BRASS, Inc. does every day.

“We are grateful for Debbie’s many years of service and her continued commitment to BRASS, Inc.,” said BRASS, Inc. CEO Tori Henninger. “Her willingness to step back in when we needed her reflects the dedication and compassion that strengthen our organization and help us fulfill our mission.”

BRASS, Inc. congratulates Debbie on this well-deserved recognition and thanks her for the many ways she has supported the organization and its mission throughout the years.

Congratulations, Debbie! We are proud to celebrate you and grateful to have you as part of the BRASS, Inc. family.
