Steps for Safety is BRASS, Inc.'s inaugural 5K run and fun run — a community celebration of courage, resilience, and solidarity with survivors of domestic violence. Whether you're a seasoned runner or walking with your family, your participation directly supports survivors and their children across BRASS, Inc.'s ten-county service area.

About the Event
Since 1980, BRASS, Inc. has served as a lifeline for individuals and families seeking safety, healing, and hope in south-central Kentucky. Today, BRASS, Inc. serves more than 3,000 survivors each year through a 30-bed emergency shelter, a 24/7 crisis line, legal advocacy, and community education programs spanning ten counties.
Steps for Safety was created to bring our community together around this mission — and to give every person who believes in safety, dignity, and justice a way to show up and take action. Your registration, your steps, and your presence matter.
BRASS, Inc. serves Allen, Barren, Butler, Edmonson, Hart, Logan, Metcalfe, Monroe, Simpson, and Warren counties — one of the largest domestic violence service areas in Kentucky.
