Elijah Sharp Named to Leadership Barren County Class of 2026–2027

Please join us in congratulating Elijah Sharp, our Community Program Manager and Law Enforcement Advocate, on his selection for the 2026–2027 class of Leadership Barren County!

Presented by the Barren County Chamber of Commerce, the program brings together emerging and established leaders to explore their community, build meaningful connections, and inspire positive change across the region. For Elijah, it's a fitting honor — a chance to invest in the very community that shaped him.

A Barren County native and 2014 graduate of Glasgow High School, Elijah first served his country as a U.S. Army Fire Control Specialist, completing his military service as a Sergeant in 2020 before returning home to serve his neighbors in a new way. He went on to earn a bachelor's degree in psychology (2023) and a Master of Social Work (2026) from WKU, and is a Kentucky Certified Social Worker currently completing supervision toward his LCSW.

Elijah's journey with BRASS, Inc. began as an intern — and grew from there. He has served as a Domestic Violence Advocate, a Crisis Intervention Advocate, and a Law Enforcement Advocate, building bridges between survivors and the systems meant to protect them.

Today, as Community Program Manager, he helps connect survivors across our ten-county region to the safety, support, and resources they need.
