October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month — a time to raise awareness, challenge misconceptions and remind survivors that they are not alone. Recently, WNKY News 40 shared Elizabeth Wood’s story of surviving domestic violence. Elizabeth courageously spoke about years of abuse, the fear that kept her from leaving and the lasting impact of what she experienced.

This October, in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, BRASS, Inc. was featured on Kentucky Edition, a public affairs program produced by KET and aired on PBS.
