BRASS, Inc. is grateful to share some wonderful news — and even more grateful to WNKY News 40 for helping us spread it.
We recently received a donation of 5,000 pairs of socks from Bombas, the American sock manufacturer known for its mission-driven giving. It may sound simple, but socks are one of the most requested and most needed items for survivors and their families as they take their first steps toward safety and healing.
For someone leaving a crisis situation — often with little more than the clothes on their back — a fresh pair of socks is more than just comfort. It's dignity. It's a reminder that this community sees them and cares.
We are so thankful to Bombas for this generous gift, and to WNKY News 40 for shining a light on the needs of survivors right here in the Barren River Area.
